El entendimiento de la relación existente entre el investigador social, sus observaciones, la definición de problemas y la metodología, es importante al momento de reflexionar el alcance de nuevos horizontes o derroteros del conocimiento; esto es que, el conocimiento es resultado de la interacción flexible entre el investigador y los aspectos meramente de la metodología. La identificación de los actores, y su relación, permite comprender que la realidad y las condiciones que la originan, es la combinación que da origen a la definición del problema y de cómo será abordado.
